Romance and horseshoe crabs?
#MFRWHooks

Is there a connection? Nothing kinky just sizzling human romance in the seaside village of Horseshoe Crab Cove! Book one of Morgan’s Fire,  Lucy’s Hearth introduces readers to this community of heartfelt characters, strong family ties, amazing friendships, and lots of white-hot sex (of course!).

Since horseshoe crabs are not native to Arizona, I headed east to New England for this spin-off of the Morgan’s Run series. These gentle, funny looking crabs have been around since the time of the dinosaurs. I admire their resilience and survival instincts, as I do the characters who populate these contemporary love stories. People in Horseshoe Crab Cove face real-life issues, dangers, illnesses, and heartache. They emerge stronger because they support, love, and nurture one another.
Small town, large families-- everyone knows your business, everyone has your back, and happy endings abound!

Book four, Rich’s Dilemma debuted on July 28th with Lolly’s Wish coming right behind it. So many more stories from Horseshoe Crab Cove to come!

In addition to the Morgan series, I write stand-alone romances, mysteries, suspense, and books for children and young adults. Some of my books are Prepped to Kill, Gadfly, Jigsaw, Lost in Spindle City, and Poof! (Ricky Steele Mysteries), A Friend of Silence, In the Name of Silence, and The Silence of Memory (Roger and Bess Mysteries), Widow’s Island, Hestor’s Way, and Song of the Spirit. For my “day job”,  I’m a professor at a small New England liberal arts college. My scholarly work centers around the impact of mindfulness on readers and writers, work that brings me tremendous joy and satisfaction. I live on a beautiful river. When not teaching or writing, my passions are family, yoga, swimming, walking, canoeing, and teaching mindfulness to people of all ages.
